The cost of the application is free. We are only paid IF and WHEN you settle. If you do not settle, you owe us nothing at all.
Normally, it takes one to two days from start of application to time of funding the advance. This all depends on you and your attorney. The faster your attorney calls/faxes/emails us back, the faster your funding occurs. If the attorney is very responsive, we can have the whole approval process done in 20 minutes.
You can be approved as soon as we speak to your attorney. The hardest part of the lawsuit funding process is getting in touch with your attorney.
Your attorney is the one who controls the settlement check. We want to make sure he is aware of the lawsuit advance you are requesting. We also want some case details that usually the client does not have themselves such as claim #, adjuster information, and liability concerns.
Once you are approved, we need you to sign an agreement. This can be emailed to you and signed electronically on a smart phone, tablet, or computer. After you sign, we get your attorney to sign as well. Then we can fund you. Funding happens via direct deposit or a check (sent regular mail or priority mail - your choice).
No. If your case settles, we are paid back out of the settlement proceeds. Your attorney will cut us a check at that time.
To start the application process, we require only your contact information and your attorney's. Once you are approved is when we will ask for your date of birth, SSN, and any other information necessary for you to fulfill the contract.
Then you don't have to pay us back. The payback is 100% contingent on your case settling. You owe us nothing unless your case settles.
Depends on your case. Are you still treating? How high are your medical bills? Is the other party 100% at fault? Did you have any insurance coverage to help with the medical bills? A lot of questions to ask before we can determine the amount. Usually, we do not advance more than 10% of what your future settlement MIGHT be.
Not a problem. We do not accept partial payments but we do accept you to pay off the full balance of your advance, at any time, in certified funds.
This depends on YOU and YOUR ATTORNEY. Our funders work on an "ASAP" basis. If you and your attorney respond to our calls/emails/texts you can have an answer in as little as 20 minutes
Our funding team does not like to advance more than 10% (TEN PERCENT) of the potential settlement.
Rates are determined by the underwriting team. Risk plays a large role in the process. The closer you are to settlement, the less the fee's will be!
No. Some states do not permit this type of funding agreement. As of this year, those states are: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont. Also, if your attorney controls the settlement check in the workman's comp case then we can fund. We are not licensed in Indiana and do not fund to Indiana plaintiffs, claimants, or demandants in civil proceedings.
